Our friends Pablo and Monica, who have been active in the lifestyle community for many years have been urging us to take our project to the Edgewater West Hotel in Oakland. They told us that the Bay Cities Social Club events, hosted by Patti and Harry would provide us with more participants than we could handle, and they were right.

We contacted Patti and Harry who understood immediately that our participation would add a unique flavor to their evenings activities. After being warmly welcomed by the gracious hosts, Patti was kind enough to make an announcement regarding our presence and we were immediately inundated by prospective participants.

We were particularly fascinated by the stories that the couples shared with us about how they got into the lifestyle, and by the negotiations that took place before a scene can begin. Everyone seemed to have their own rules. For instance, one couple shared that the woman was only interested in playing with other women, but she was happy to have their partners watch.

The Hotel is built around a courtyard, and many of the couples leave the curtains open so their activities can be observed, making it a rich environment for voyeurs and exhibitionists alike. They have a large room for dancing, with a buffet to compliment the evenings theme. They welcome novices as well as experienced "lifestylers". There will be footage from this in our upcoming video.
